3 Sisters

We’re three sisters out of five siblings, born and raised in Southern California. We grew up with a love for the outdoors, baking, and being around family. No matter where life took us, whenever we were all together there was always coffee, pastries, and good food on the table.

Melo Coffee grew from that shared love — a way to turn the ritual of coffee into something bigger: connection, comfort, and simple times.

The name Melo is a little piece of each of us:

• From our home: Our oldest sister, Anne, wanted a connection to the citrus trees we grew up with at our family home — especially the pomelos in our backyard.

• From our philosophy: Our middle sister, Mary, imagined a name that embodied “slow coffee” — the idea of savoring a cup with nowhere to be but here.

• From our creativity: Our youngest sister, Leah, wanted something unique, playful, and not tied to anything else.

Together, Melo became the perfect fit: rooted in home, inspired by slowing down, and one-of-a-kind.

We’re also proud to partner with Curran Cookies - Anne’s specialty bakery items - to offer handcrafted cookies and baked goods alongside our drinks. Because coffee is even better with something sweet.
